With great sadness, I am writing to share the news that Reverend Wayne E. Jacobson, retired pastor of Stony Creek Congregational Church, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was 79 after a period of declining health.
Wayne was born on February 25, 1947, in Gloucester, Massachusetts, to the late Edson and Natalie (White) Jacobson.
