First Congregational Church of Branford (FCCB) has been a faithful supporter, both financially and with volunteers, of the Community Dining Room (CDR) since its beginning in 1985. The CDR serves a hot lunch for free every day of the year to any shoreline resident. They have a weekly family night event and they deliver meals to home bound individuals, totaling 4500 meals each month.
FCCB volunteers prepare and serve a meal at the CDR six times a year on the first Saturday of every other month. A group of 6 – 9 people chop, stir, fry or bake a delicious brunch as we have fun working together. We are always looking for new helpers.
