New Member Class
In a great Peanuts cartoon, Charlie Brown is bemoaning having to hurry through Sunday morning breakfast to get ready for church. But we know there is a whole lot more to being part of a church than getting dressed up. There’s being part of a community that
~ worships together and learns together
~ plays together and supports one another
~ reaches out to the world in multiple ways
~ seeks justice, loves mercy, and
~walks humbly with our God.
If you have been worshipping with us over the past months, is this the time you might be considering joining us in a more formal way by becoming members?
To that end, we will hold two Inquirer’s classes to let us get to know one another better and to help you learn more about our church. Choose the ONE that suits you best: Sunday, May 1 OR Sunday, May 8 - 11:15 a.m. in the APR Room.
A formal reception into membership will take place in worship on Sunday May 15. Speak to one of the pastors or call the church office (488-7201) if you are interested.
